This is a vintage black wool Chanel a-line skirt designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Chanel Spring Summer 2001 collection. This a-line skirt features an oval CC logo plate sewn into the waistband. Skirts like these, made in natural fabrics are getting harder to find! Even modern higher end designer clothing is made more and more out of synthetic fibers. One of the reasons we prefer vintage Chanel pieces is because of the exceptional quality and finer fabrics used!

This was meant to be worn just below the natural waist, high on the hip, and is marked a French size 42.
